Early Morning Baker - 4am Start

Position Summary:

As an Early Morning Baker at Tim Hortons, you will be responsible for preparing and baking all fresh products, including donuts, Timbits, muffins, bagels, and other baked goods, to ensure consistent quality and freshness for our guests. You play a key role in delivering the “Always Fresh” promise and helping the restaurant start each day with a full and fresh product lineup.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, bake, and finish baked goods according to Tim Hortons’ standards and baking schedules.
• Follow all recipes, portioning, and presentation guidelines to maintain product consistency.
• Ensure all baked items meet quality, freshness, and visual appeal standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized baking area at all times.
• Rotate stock to ensure product freshness and minimize waste.
• Monitor baking supplies and communicate inventory needs to management.
• Operate ovens, proofers, and other baking equipment safely and efficiently.
• Follow food safety and health & safety standards as per company policy.
• Work efficiently to meet production timelines and opening preparation targets.
• Assist with other tasks as required to support the morning team and restaurant operations.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Previous baking or food preparation experience preferred (training provided).
• Ability to work early morning shifts (typically starting between 3:00 AM – 5:00 AM).
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic understanding of food safety and handling procedures.
• Physical ability to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Hours & Schedule:

• Early morning shifts (start time between 3:00 AM – 5:00 AM).
• Full-time or part-time positions available.
• Weekend and holiday availability may be required.
