Join Our Bakery Team at SuperValu!
We're a community-focused grocery store in the heart of Gibsons, and we’re looking for an experienced, creative Head Baker to join our crew. If you take pride in your craft, like to lead by example and welcome the challenge of developing a team, we’d love to hear from  you!
What You’ll Do:
- Prepare doughs and batters for breads, rolls, cakes, muffins, cookies, and other baked goods
- Bake and finish high-quality products according to recipes or custom orders
- Oversee production schedules and inventory ordering
- Maintain the highest standards of food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness
- Train and mentor assistants and junior bakery staff
- Participate in product development and seasonal features
- Handle special requests
- Manage merchandising and sales displays for bakery items

What We’re Looking For:
- Three or more years of experience as a Baker, ideally with a baking Red Seal Certification
- Demonstrated leadership and communication skills
- A commitment to excellence and an attention to detail
- A passion for baking
- Legally eligible to work in Canada
